Play of the Day: Obama Joins Twitter
The president's social media presence expands, but he's still just a dad.
Echoing Barack Obama's adventures in basketball, Vladimir Putin played in a charity hockey game over the weekend in Sochi. Unlike Obama, though, Putin's opponents were taken to school by the Russian leader as he scored eight goals. Putin's reputation was noted by late-night hosts Monday night, with Conan O'Brien and Late Night's Seth Meyers joking about the threats against the goalie's life during the game.
Putin pal and former president George W. Bush spoke at Southern Methodist University's commencement over the weekend. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon and O'Brien joked about Bush's college success -- or lack thereof -- and it's effect on his time in the White House.
Barack Obama joined Twitter Monday, sparking O'Brien and Meyers to joke about his role on the social media network. O'Brien joked about his battles with the GOP, while Meyers took issue with the president's first tweet.
