The Obama administration put out a directive this week clarifying the civil rights issues with transgender students in schools and bathrooms. Chelsea Handler joked about this over the weekend, tying the bathroom directive to Michelle Obama's work on nutrition in schools.
Donald Trump and Chris Christie appeared at a New Jersey fundraiser last week to erase some of Christie's 2016 campaign debt. At the event, Trump made a joke about Christie's weight that Late Show's Stephen Colbert noted Friday. Colbert highlighted Trump's weight and even imagined how bad a Trump best man speech would be.
