Would Donald Trump still live in New York after inauguration?
According to reports, Ben Carson was rumored to be part of president-elect Donald Trump's cabinet, but he has taken himself out of consideration. A Carson aide told The Hill that "Dr. Carson feels he has no government experience, he's never run a federal agency" and that his lack of experience "could cripple the presidency." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that Carson's presidential run suggested he wanted to run all the agencies, while The Late Show's Stephen Colbert wondered if Carson -- had he won the White House -- would've just resigned on the first day.
According to reports, Trump has considered living only part-time in the White House as president, spending the rest of the time at Trump Tower in New York.Tonight Show host -- and Gotham resident -- Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying Trump wants to make "traffic in New York city worse than ever." Colbert noted the luxury of the White House, saying Trump could "sit on the same toilet that Lincoln tweeted the Gettysburg Address from."
