Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology has steadily embedded itself into the fabric of daily life in America, with smart devices, facial recognition software, traffic monitoring applications, and wearables assuming mainstream status. The actionable insights gleaned from IoT devices can improve problem solving and decision making capabilities of individuals, communities, and businesses, but how is IoT technology being applied in the federal government? GBC polled over 200 federal employees to assess perceptions, priorities, and the extent of IoT adoption at the top levels of government.
