Using Data to Support Decision Making

Government agencies are awash in data. Turning that data into useful information that officials can use to make better decisions about the programs they administer is a formidable challenge, however. Thus, the president’s management agenda argues that “creating a data strategy and infrastructure for the future” is one of the key drivers of government reform.
