Obama wins ruling on Arizona law
Judge blocks most controversial parts of immigration law, which takes effect on July 31.
A federal judge on Wednesday blocked Arizona from implementing a law requiring police to question and verify the immigration status of anybody they reasonably suspect of being in the country illegally.
U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton handed the Obama administration a victory in blocking the most controversial parts of Arizona's immigration law, which were set to go into effect Thursday.
