The draft will not be final until OMB examines the comments and modifies the guidance to respond to them...AFGE seeks the ouster of Mica from civil service chairmanship. According to Mica, AFGE President John Sturdivant "should consider resigning" (Federal Human Resources Week).
OF INTEREST--"The fear of retaliation looms large among employees who take time off for family, and the risk is rising" (The Wall Street Journal, Work & Family)...The scariest part of Halloween is how the office empties out. Once a kids-only festival, many parents now feel they must be home to supervise the trick or treating (USA TODAY).
