Don't Get Even, Get Mad

The cat's out of the bag on the cable news networks' freakout about the hurricane response. (See Sept. 8 post below.) It looks like at least some some of the attacks on federal officials about the recovery effort were scripted. In his column Sunday, Michael Kinsley notes that "a Los Angeles Times colleague of mine, appearing on CNN last week to talk about Katrina, was told by a producer to 'get angry.'
