Photo Gallery: NSA’s Tool Kit
From computer programs that magnify text to ergonomic keyboards, the National Security Agency offers a variety of devices to help employees do their job.
National Security Agency officials have spent 16 years developing a more inclusive workplace. That means offering disability awareness training and classes on subjects such as American Sign Language and deaf culture, issuing security badges to aides, and renovating facilities to make them more accessible. It also means investing in technology that helps not only employees with disabilities or illnesses, but also workers seeking to avoid occupational injuries.
This gallery of photos from the NSA Disability Affairs Office shows some of the many tools at employees' disposal. It accompanies Government Executive's Oct. 1 magazine feature on removing obstacles for workers with disabilities.
