Administration hosts help sessions on reporting stimulus spending

Week of online seminars starting July 20 will cover major sections of the latest OMB guidance.

Confused by the administration's recent guidance on reporting Recovery Act spending and job creation data? Help is on the way.

The Office of Management and Budget and the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board will host a series of webinars from July 20-23 on how stimulus recipients should implement the 41-page set of instructions.

OMB Deputy Director Rob Nabors first announced the sessions on Wednesday during a Recovery Act hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Each of the seven, two-hour webinars will focus on a major section of the June 22 guidance and will highlight technology to help agencies comply with the requirements. The sessions are intended for federal personnel, prime recipients such as state and local government officials, and subrecipients such as government contractors.
