FBI Agents on Steroids?

It's an old story: federal agents have dragged a group of people into court on charges related to the use of performance-enhancing drugs like steroids and human growth hormone. But here's the twist: They're not professional athletes. They're FBI employees.

The Washington Post reports that four FBI employees -- three agents and an analyst -- have been charged in U.S. District Court in Washington with covering up their use of steroids and HGH in official fitness reports required by the agency. The four allegedly got phony diagnoses of medical conditions such as pituitary dwarfism so they could get prescriptions for the drugs.

It's not clear how the four came to be targets in the investigation.
