Federal Benefits and Japan

The Office of Personnel Management now is handling inquiries related to benefits for federal annuitants who died during the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Affected family members and other individuals can call 202-606-8142 to report deaths and/or advise the government of any disruptions in April 1, 2011 annuity payments.
