Video: Ray Bradbury at NASA

Ray Bradbury, who died at 91 on Tuesday, was more than just a master of science fiction. He actually participated in several space-related events at NASA's Joint Propulsion Laboratory.

JPL has posted a video of one such appearance in 1971, where Bradbury was on a panel with fellow sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke, journalist Walter Sullivan, and scientists Carl Sagan and Bruce Murray. The video includes Bradbury reading his poem, "If Only We had Taller Been."

"I don't know what the hell I'm doing here," Bradbury joked before reading the poem. "I'm the least scientific of all the people on the panel today."
