A Meeting of the Minds on the Future of Defense

With the war in Afghanistan coming to a close, the military engaged in a long-term shift in attention to the Asia-Pacific region and severe belt-tightening underway at the Pentagon, the Defense Department faces an almost unprecedented set of challenges. That's why we at Government Executive Media Group and Atlantic Media launched Defense One, a digital publication focused on national security news, analysis and ideas, this summer. 

Now we're taking the conversation live, with the inaugural Defense One Summit next month in Washington.

Next, the Defense One Summit will convene this audience to debate the big ideas, share leadership lessons and have timely conversation about what comes next for all of us.
