While the federal government is responsible for the construction and upkeep of some of the most critical facilities in the nation, agency methods of cost estimations can vary widely. Out-of-date baseline information, weak reporting frameworks, and inconsistent methodologies between agencies can lead to inaccurate cost estimations that result in delayed project schedules and budget overages.
