Data literacy is a fundamental skillset for almost every role in the public sector today. The ability to translate data into meaningful insights improves decision-making, which leads to greater efficiency, smarter budgets, and more informed planning. There are now many ways for individuals to improve their capabilities and for organizations to support them. Given the importance of data literacy for all federal, state, and local government personnel, GBC partnered with Tableau to create this study.
