An increasingly volatile climate is producing record numbers of natural disasters each year. As this frequency escalates, understanding and predicting weather patterns and climate change has become more important than ever. To better understand and prepare for climate variability, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is using a multitude of tools to collect an abundance of data on the changing climate across the country.
