Zero trust has become a major buzzword within the federal government thanks to a number of new federal mandates. Rather than relying on a traditional network perimeter, this approach focuses security on individual endpoints, trusting nothing and no one until they are verified. The proliferation of users working from anywhere makes real-time visibility over the entire endpoint landscape fundamental to achieving zero trust goals, ensuring that all users and devices are secure and compliant with new federal standards. However, devices can be compromised without the user’s knowledge.
