The Telltale Signs

hen one or more of the following occurs, it may indicate a personal problem has begun to interfere with an employee's performance.
- Frequent and unexplained absences/tardiness
- Change in behavior on the job
- Decline in work performance/lack of concentration
- Missed deadlines, accidents or mistakes
- Change in character, attitude or appearance
- Increase in interpersonal problems with other employees
- On-the-job drinking and/or drug use
- Isolation/withdrawing from co-workers
- Increased physical complaints and/or health problems
- Theft
