Know Someone Doing Bold Things? Get Them the Recognition They Deserve.
Nominations are open for the Nextgov Bold Awards.
Across government, people are using technology in innovative ways to make federal operations more efficient and effective, and to provide breakthrough service to citizens. You just don’t hear these stories much.
We’re out to change that, with the second annual Nextgov Bold Awards. They honor people who are on a mission to tap the potential offered by new technologies to make government work better.
Now we’re looking for some great nominees for this year’s awards. Here are the details:
- We’re accepting nominations through June 23.
- Our editorial team will select a dozen or more finalists, who will be announced in July.
- Readers will have an opportunity to vote for a People’s Choice winner online from July 28-Aug. 8.
- We’ll announce the winners, including the People’s Choice, at Nextgov Prime on Sept. 8-9 in Washington.
Last year’s winners included people who improved the lives of veterans, reduced the threat of endangered whales and boosted the effectiveness of humanitarian aid. If you know of a worthy candidate (or team) for this year’s awards, please nominate them today.
