Tell Us How the Blizzard Affects You and Your Agency
How does a crippling storm in Washington affect government operations?
Washington politicians and officials are strangely united on one point: The monster storm bearing down on the nation's capitol could cripple the region for days and have deadly consequences for any who fail to take it seriously. The region's abysmal response to a minor dusting of snow earlier in the week seemed an ominous precursor to what forecasters predict will be an historic blizzard.
The Office of Personnel Management late Thursday announced that all federal employees in the region would be sent home by noon on Friday. With most federal agencies headquartered in Washington, the impact could be felt across the country.
If you work for the federal government, especially in the Washington area, we'd like to hear from you. How was your commute home on Friday? How is the blizzard complicating your job or your agency's mission?
