Man who threatened Obama greeted authorities with a shotgun
The Secret Service detained the man after he sent emails threatening emails to the FBI
A Washington man was arrested on Tuesday for threatening President Obama in emails sent to the F.B.I. When Secret Service agents went to his house to arrest him, he charged at them with a shotgun in hand.
Anton Caluori lives in Federal Way, Washington. Caluori sent a threatening email to the F.B.I. threatening the President in some way. The F.B.I. thought enough of the email to forward it to the Secret Service, who worked with the Federal Way police to track him down. When they went to his house on Tuesday to arrest him, he didn't exactly go quietly:
When Secret Service agents went to the man's apartment in Federal Way, he "charged at them" at the front door carrying a shotgun, some ammunition, and another weapon believed to be a pistol.
