NASA’s Curiosity rover recently celebrated its first year on Mars . In driving around the red planet, the rover has sent back thousands of photos to the space agency . The Tonight Show ’s Jay Leno noted Curiosity ’s time on Mars and connected it to Anthony Weiner in his monologue Monday, making the requisite jokes about photographs.
On TBS, Conan O’Brien joked about a recent study about bilinguality in the United States being on the rise. Leno touched on a different study on obesity, talking about the government’s map of overweight people in the United States.
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has been trying to pass a bill that would rename the United States’ Exclusive Economic Zone after Ronald Reagan . Stephen Colbert professed his love for Reagan and mentioned how he’d like to name everything after the 40th president. Colbert thought the EEZ renaming would be fine, considering the rest of international waters were already named after Billy Ocean.
