Play of the Day: The DEA Warns Against Stoner Bunnies
Late night shows highlight a federal warning against unintended consequences of Utah's forays into medical marijuana.
This week's news that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not use State Department email while heading that agency was the focus of the first segment of The Daily Show Wednesday night. Host Jon Stewart asked the obvious question about NSA archives, while also highlighting State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf's dicey explanation of the emails that were given over to the agency.
With marijuana legalization moving to different jurisdictions, The Nightly Show looked at the DC law and who's responsible while praising the president. In other pot news, Utah is looking to legalize medical usage of the substance, but a Drug Enforcement Agency expert is suggesting that the crop could have unintended consequences on the local rabbit populations. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon checked in with famous rabbits to see what they thought about legal weed.
