Play of the Day: The President Samples Jay-Z in his Selma Speech
Some of the metaphors Obama used in Alabama sound awfully familiar.
Hillary Clinton's email scandal continues to dot late-night television. The Late Show's David Letterman doesn't understand the scandal, but his staff did get access to video of Clinton's office in the process of gathering the 55,000 emails Clinton said she would hand over to the State Department.
Also commemorated over the weekend was the 50th anniversary of the march on the Edmund Pettis Bridge in Selma, Alabama. Civil rights leaders, politicians and others watched President Barack Obama speak on work still needed to be done on of civil rights in the US, but The Daily Show's Jon Stewart noted that Obama clearly isn't devoted to America enough. The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore also took issue with Obama's speech and where the president actually got his metaphors.
