Play of the Day: 2008 Hillary Meets 2016 Hillary
An SNL sketch looks at the difference eight years can make.
Earlier this month, NASA put out a job ad on USAjobs.gov for astronauts to work on a potential manned Mars mission. Late Show's Stephen Colbert tackled this topic Friday night, saying he could be on the mission … as long as it launches before President Donald Trump takes office.
Saturday Night Live hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were known for their Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton impressions, respectively, in previous years, so the show brought those impressions back to pair with current cast member Kate McKinnon's Hillary Clinton. In the sketch, Poehler's 2008 version of Clinton met with McKinnon's 2016 version to talk about the man who "stumbled out of a soup kitchen with a basketball and cigarrette" to "steal" the presidency from her. Fey's Palin impression reminisced about the 2008 campaign, while the shoe also got in a joke about Clinton's email.
