The United States Navy is getting criticism from some after the service named a littoral combat ship after Andrew Jackson. Conan O'Brien has a solution for the controversy: instead of naming the USS Jackson after the slave owner and architect of the Trail of Tears, the Navy should say the ship is named after never-controversial Michael Jackson.

Donald Trump remains the main topic in late-night TV, especially after Time released the video of his confrontation with a bald eagle. The second wave of jokes Thursday were now about Trump's hair, with O'Brien, Late Night's Seth Meyers and Late Show's Stephen Colbert saying Trump's elaborate coiffure looks like some sort of nest.
