Play of the Day: Some Malheur Solutions
Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel have some ideas for the situation in Oregon.
Hillary Clinton told a crowd in New Hampshire recently that she would, as president, "get to the bottom" of any government information around UFOs and alien life. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about this Tuesday, saying Clinton's husband would be the first to volunteer for probing.
As the standoff in Oregon continues, late-night TV hosts joked about the situation at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about the timeliness of ranchers fighting the government in the West, while both Jimmy Kimmel and The Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the Citizens for Constitutional Freedom's recent Facebook message requesting "snacks."
Kimmel and Colbert each had a solution Tuesday for the standoff. Kimmel wants to convert the facility into a prison, while Colbert suggested leaving the group alone and changing the facility's name from "Malheur National Wildlife Refuge" to "The Ammon Bundy Preserve for the Armed and Cranky."
