Play of the Day: How is Hillary Clinton So Bad at This?
Stephen Colbert wonders why the Democratic frontrunner so botched her interview with Scott Pelley.
After finishing a dismal fourth in the South Carolina primary, Jeb Bush suspended his campaign for the White House over the weekend. Last Week Tonight's John Oliver joked about his mother's comments over the weekend about him, including her describing him as steady, honest, modest and kind. As Oliver pointed out, those are the ways someone describes a dud blind date, not a mother's own son.
Hillary Clinton continues to struggle with earning voters' trust and reaffirmed many people's doubts about her in an interview with Scott Pelley late last week. When asked about her truthfulness, Clinton said "I've always tried to" instead of just saying she hasn't lied. Late Show's Stephen Colbert noted this in his Friday monologue wondering "How are you so bad at his?" Colbert also invoked Richard Nixon's famous "I am not a crook" line in addressing Clinton.
