With Super Tuesday results in, late-night television joked about the big gains Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton made this week. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that a Clinton/Trump general election could either make history or end history, while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon and The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore noted Clinton saying the U.S. needs more "love and kindness" in her victory speech.
Late-night hosts -- and the Internet -- were abuzz about Chris Christie standing next to Trump during the GOP frontrunner's Florida victory speech. Christie was compared to a time traveler, a reluctant best man at a wedding, someone who just found out butterscotch causes cancer and even America at-large as everyone teed off on the New Jersey governor. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah imagined that Christie was in his "happy place:" a place where the traffic jams never end.
