With the New York primary set for Tuesday, the candidates have continued to campaign in the Empire State. While you'd think John Kasich would have learned from Ted Cruz's awkward trip to the matzoh bakery, but the Ohio governor one-upped the Texan by explaining the upcoming Passover holiday in the context of Jesus Christ to a group of Orthodox Jews while in Brooklyn. Late Show's Stephen Colbert wondered why Kasich would bring Jesus into this, while Full Frontal's Samantha Bee noted that Kasich's blood connection was both outdated and historically dangerous.
