Play of the Day: Obama Knocks Down Trump's Nuke Talk
The president said the 2016 GOP frontrunner “doesn’t know much about foreign policy or nuclear policy… or the world generally."
Hillary Clinton held an event at Harlem's Apollo theater recently, raising money for her 2016 campaign. Saturday Night Live's Michael Che joked over the weekend about Clinton's presence there by citing one of the most famous comedy albums recorded at the historic venue (and the famous phrase it spawned).
Donald Trump last week spoke on foreign policy, suggesting that nations should be more free to pursue such arms, not ruling out using nukes and even included the phrase "Europe is a big place." Last Week Tonight's John Oliver noted that someplace being a "big place" is a bad excuse for anything, including peeing in the ocean. President Barack Obama rebuked Trump while at last week's Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, saying Trump “doesn’t know much about foreign policy or nuclear policy or the Korean Peninsula or the world generally.” Oliver joked that Obama's implication was that the things Trump doesn't know could fill a book. Or the entire encyclopedia.
