The only thing that's changed in the course of this long investigation is the chairman's hair.
Donald Trump gave a speech on his views on trade this week in Pennsylvania with an interesting backdrop. Conan O'Brien joked that the wall of trash was an inelegant metaphor, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert wondered if Trump's economic plan involved bottle deposits and lots of them.
On Tuesday, the House Benghazi Committee released its 800-page report on what happened during the 2012 terror attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Libya. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about the report's lack of new information damning Hillary Clinton, comparing the nine investigations to the Saw film franchise. Noah also noted that the only things that have changed during this long investigation is chairman Trey Gowdy's hairstyles.
