Donald Trump's campaign finance number have surprised a few people, as the real estate mogul has far less money on hand for the general election than his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. Late Show's Stephen Colbert wondered why we trusted a man who's clearly overcompensating with all those buildings, while The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about Trump's failures in business.
One of the popular choices to be Clinton's running mate is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, but Wall St. donors are sending signals that she is not their favorite. Colbert joked that the financial sector would prefer Mr. Monopoly because he's also a big money man (and also, like Wall St. bankers, has a "get out of jail free" card). Clinton should be ready for an onslaught of negative coverage, as several anti-Clinton films are being released this election cycle. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon has some title cards for the films, including The Devil Wears Talbot's and one that references her email scandal.
