Play of the Day: The Republican Party's Anti-Porn Platform
Stephen Colbert wonders if the GOP is missing some opportunities.
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is being criticized for saying presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is unfit to be president partially because he "says whatever comes into his head." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that the things he says come from somewhere else, while Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Trump's speaking style.
In anticipation of its convention next week, the Republicans have been putting together the party's official platform this week. Colbert joked about the provisions in the GOP platform about coal being "clean", referencing all those squeaky clean miners with "clean lung." O'Brien and Colbert also focused on the GOP's anti-pornography stance with O'Brien saying Republicans "really do not want to win this election," while Colbert noted that pornography and the GOP have a lot more in common than Republicans want to admit.
