Play of the Day: Donald Trump is 'The Dress'
His supporters see him one way and everyone else sees him another way.
This week, Donald Trump suggested "second amendment people" should "do something" about Hillary Clinton. Many thought it sounded like Trump was inciting violence, though the trump campaign put out a statement suggesting that gun rights activists are well-organized and would vote against her. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about this Wednesday night, saying that gun rights activists even vote with their guns.
Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani defended Trump's comments, saying too many are interpreting the comments as violent are doing so because of the "Clinton spin machine." The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore joked that "the Clinton spin machine" sounds like one of Bill's old pickup lines. Finally, Noah joked Wednesday that how people interpret Trump's most controversial comments is like how people saw "The Dress." Sure, most people see Trump as gold and white, but some people see him as black and blue.
