Play of the Day: Not So Fast, Secretary Clinton
The Democratic nominee is better at counting chickens before they hatch then she is at counting votes.
The 2016 presidential election is just six days away, so late-night hosts joked about the week left in the campaign. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that the time is enough for making "your peace with God," while Conan O'Brien joked that "millions of Americans will learn if their new leader is Hillary Clinton or Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau."
New reports this week show that the Clinton campaign is planning a huge victory celebration in New York next week, complete with fireworks. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that Clinton's been measuring the drapes in the White House for a while, while Colbert said he hoped Clinton's fireworks display will spell out "Hubris." Colbert also knows the menu for the celebration: Chicken, but actually they're just eggs and Clinton's counting her chickens before they hatch.
