Play of the Day: Trump is Here to Deal With Israel, Palestine and, Of Course, Sweden
President Donald Trump is going to fix every international issue, including those which do not exist.
Americans celebrated President's Day weekend and, in time for the holiday, C-SPAN released its presidential rankings. James Buchanan was ranked last, but The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that President Donald Trump's Thursday press conference might have knocked the current president into that spot.
Trump hosted a press conference in Washington Wednesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in which Trump said of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, "So I’m looking at two-state and one-state, and I like the one that both parties like. I’m very happy with the one that both parties like. I can live with either one." Last Week Tonight's John Oliver noted that this isn't really a solution, unless the Israelis and Palestinians want to move to Peru.
Trump's Saturday rally in Florida also came up on Last Week Tonight, with the president's mentioning a vague incident in Sweden that turned out to have never occurred. After Trump tweeted that he saw a segment on Fox News about the Scandinavian nation, Oliver joked that sifting through Trump's comments is like ascertaining what a shark attacked by examining its stomach contents.
