President Donald Trump is meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping this weekend at Mar-a-Lago to discuss the two nations' shared world interests. Citing the news, Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Trump's pronunciation of the word "China" and Trump's knowledge of world affairs.

White House strategist Steve Bannon was taken off the National Security Council this week and reports have suggested that Bannon's more nationalist faction of the White House is feuding with the more establishment faction led by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. In the wake of the news, Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Kushner's ever-expanding White House role Thursday. Also according to reports, Trump was upset by the portrayal of Bannon as a White House puppet master, prompting Meyers to enumerate the ways he's made fun of the Bannon/Trump relationship.
