Play of the Day: Comey Had to Decide Between 'Really Bad' and 'Catastrophic'
That choice sounds awfully familiar to American voters.
First Lady Melania Trump liked a tweet this week that said "Seems the only #Wall @realDonaldTrump's built is the one between him and @FLOTUS," then quickly unliked the tweet. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that her liking and unliking mirrored her facial expressions in the GIF attached to the tweet, while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Donald Trump, at this point, will take credit for any wall being bult.
FBI Director James Comey testified on Capitol Hill Wednesday about his agency's handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign. Comey said that the potential of his playing a role in the election made him "mildly nauseous," which prompted Conan O'Brien to joke that he's good at understatement and Late Show's Stephen Colbert to joke that it could be morning sickness. Comey also said that he had to choose between outcomes that were "really bad" or "catastrophic," prompting Colbert to joke that those options were "the same things the voters had to choose between."
