Play of the Day: Jeff Sessions and Recusals

Bestselling author Stephen King said this week that President Donald Trump blocked him on social media. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying "The world's scariest writer blocked Stephen King on Twitter."

Attorney General Jeff Sessions testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday, defending himself against allegations that he colluded with Russia to help the Trump campaign in 2016. Fallon joked about Sessions saying "I don't recall," saying that phrase is Washington-speak for "I definitely recall and I'm in trouble." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about Sessions saying "I recused myself from any investigation into the campaigns for President, but I did not recuse myself from defending my honor against scurrilous and false allegations." Noah joked that Sessions probably uses that phrase a lot, including when nachos are involved.
