Play of the Day: Replacing Sean Spicer
The White House press shop may be getting a makeover.
Ivanka Trump met with Republican lawmakers this week to discuss potential paid family leave policies. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that plenty of GOP politicians would pay for the Trump family to leave Washington.
The Atlantic's Rosie Gray reported that the White House Communications Office is in the process of a revamp, with Press Secretary Sean Spicer moving into a behind-the-scenes role and thus looking for his own on-camera replacement. Conan O'Brien joked that Spicer moving to a more strategic role is a euphemism akin to a dog "moving to a farm upstate" while Jimmy Kimmel joked that the right applicant would need to keep a straight face while calling on "the gentleman from InfoWars." Fallon's staff put together a recruitment video for Spicer's replacement, complete with some of Spicer's greatest hits.
