Play of the Day: Scaramucci's Phone Call
The White House official let loose a vulgar rant this week.
The title of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's upcoming book was released this week and was roundly mocked on social media. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Clinton was also writing a children's book in the style of Dr. Seuss, while Late Night's Jimmy Fallon joked that title was censored.
Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House communications director, let loose on a phone call with The New Yorker's Ryan Lizza this week and the highlights are shocking and vulgar. Scaramucci called Reince Priebus "a paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” prompting The Daily Show's Trevor Noah to compare him to "Hannibal Lecter's chef." Scaramucci also unloaded on Steve Bannon, prompting some pretty vulgar jokes from Meyers, Noah and Late Show's Stephen Colbert.
