Play of the Day: Jared Kushner's Voter Registration Snafu
The White House advisor made a mistake in some paperwork.
President Donald Trump unveiled his tax reform plan this week, saying that 20 is his ideal number for the corporate tax rate. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that "20 is my ideal number" is also what the fast food-loving president says about McNuggets.
It was reported this week that Jared Kushner, senior adviser and son-in-law to Trump, is registered to vote in New York as a female, potentially because he filled out a form incorrectly. Jimmy Kimmel joked about the news, though, saying his blank party affiliation on the fomr also means that Kushner is just an "independent woman." Kimmel also noted recent revelations that Kushner has used private email for White House business and referenced the 2016 Trump supporter catchphrase "lock her up."
