Play of the Day: A Trump Twitter Tradeoff
Trevor Noah's staff made some GIFs for the president to use, assuming he can keep making deals.
President Donald Trump is at the United Nations General Assembly session this week and started the week by saying that there is a good chance for peace in the Middle East. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the comments, saying Trump also accidentally started a war with Greenland.
Trump had an exciting weekend on Twitter, creating a new nickname for Kim Jong-un and later retweeting a GIF of him hitting 2016 election loser Hillary Clinton with a golf ball. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that Trump calling Kim "Rocket Man" means he's serious about the North Korean threat, while Jimmy Kimmel joked that he would've gone with "Tiny Dancer" for the diminutive Kim. Noah also noted that Trump's weekend Twitter behavior seemed to inversely work with his shift toward more moderate politics on DACA and the budget, so he suggested that Trump could use some GIFs -- Trump dunking on Obama and Trump hitting Bernie Sanders in the privates with a golf ball -- in exchange for keeping Obamacare and more stringent rules on financial institutions.
