Play of the Day: Trump's Version of the Food Pyramid
The president likes rice, pie and "beautiful chocolate cake."
According to reports, the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's campaign was involved in funding the salacious "Trump dossier" as part of opposition research after President Donald Trump's Republican rivals had dropped out of the 2016 race. The Opposition's Jordan Klepper connected the dots on the story, joking about Clinton's reach and a GOP candidate whose name rhymes with "Beb!"
NBC reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell overheard Secret Service agents discussing Trump's lunch during his meeting this week with Republican Senators, tweeting "He ate rice and 2 pieces of cherry pie." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news and the president's diet, saying Trump likes rice because it's "bland and white." Colbert also named some of the important parts of Trump's food pyramid: the Diet Coke button, ketchup and, of course, "beautiful chocolate cake."
