Play of the Day: President Trump is Photographed With Many People
George Papadopoulos is just one of the many unsavory characters with which the president has appeared in pictures.
President Donald Trump is in Asia on the longest trip of his presidency so far and late-night joked about the trip over the weekend. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost joked about Trump administration requests for "familiar foods, like well-done steak and ice cream," saying Trump's team would like "easier mazes on his placemats."
The weekly late-night shows got their hands on the indictments that came out last week, joking about Paul Manafort and George Papadopoulos. Jost noted that Manafort's multiple passports, aliases and burner phone means "I don't know what he's guilty of, but it's definitely not nothing" and Last Week Tonight's John Oliver joked that only Jason Bourne needs three passports and aliases. After a photo was unearthed of former Trump campaign foreign policy Papadopoulos seated at a meeting with Trump, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee said that Trump has appeared in ‘thousands’ of pictures with ‘millions’ of people. Oliver joked about her comment, showing photos of Trump with Harvey Weinstein, O.J. Simpson and Grimace from McDonaldland.
