Play of the Day: The Trumps' Absentee Ballots
The First Family didn't exactly correctly vote in the New York mayoral race.
An FBI agent has been fired from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team due to reported text messages in which he called President Donald Trump "an idiot." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about the news, saying that he's not disappointed about Peter Strzok's opinions on politics, but that he's "disappointed that this dude was a counter intelligence officer who wasn't covering his tracks" and that Strzok could've at least used emoji.
The New York Daily News reported recently that Trump and members of his family voted in the recent New York election for mayor, but their absentee ballots didn't count because of various mistakes on the forms. Trump himself got his birthdate wrong, prompting Late Show's Stephen Colbert to joke that the president will want to see his own "longform birth certificate" and that First Lady Melania Trump's outer envelope had a special message for whoever received it.
