Play of the Day: Stormy Daniels Knows How to Get Trump to Behave
Perhaps Robert Mueller and John Kelly watched the interview.
President Donald Trump's legal team has been somewhat upended in recent weeks, with John Dowd resigning and new lawyers to work on the Russia probe from Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Trump reportedly even said that he is going to take a more aggressive stance toward the probe, according to Vanity Fair, "now I’m f--ing doing it my way." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the quote, noting that the phrase is his favorite Frank Sinatra song.
60 Minutes aired its interview with adult film actress Stormy Daniels and she recounted her affair with Trump to host Anderson Cooper. Daniels mentioned that Trump compared her to his daughter Ivanka, prompting Colbert and The Opposition's Jordan Klepper to joke about Trump's previous comments about his daughter. Daniels also told a previously reported story about her spanking the future president with a magazine bearing his face, saying it changed his behavior and he acted more appropriately afterward. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah and Colbert joked that those with access to Trump -- Robert Mueller and John Kelly -- have a new method to make the president be more cooperative.
