Play of the Day: A 'Stormy' Week for the White House

President Donald Trump's top economic advisor Gary Cohn announced this week that he will resign his job, reportedly over Trump's tariff policy. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the historic turnover at the White House, joking that Trump himself is now the person answering the White House switchboard.

Also this week, adult film actress Stormy Daniels sued Trump over the confidentiality agreement and money paid to her (just days before the 2016 election) from Trump's lawyer for the purpose of keeping quiet about an affair Daniels and Trump had in 2006. Daniels alleges that Trump never signed the agreement, which was written up under fake names -- David Dennison and Peggy Peterson -- to protect their identities. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about Trump not signing the document, saying the president will slap his name on anything, while Conan O'Brien joked that it's "almost as if we did elect a Clinton." The David Dennison pseudonym was also a point of humor, with Jimmy Kimmel, The Opposition's Jordan Klepper and Late Show's Stephen Colbert joking about the initials DD, Trump and Daniels' profession.
